Julio's Plan for Beaumont

As a City Councilmember, I’m dedicated to serving the residents of Beaumont and bringing positive change to our city.

 

We eliminated corruption at City Hall and balanced the city budget, turning an $11 million deficit into a $17 million surplus. We restructured city finances, resulting in lower taxes for homeowners.

 

We created Beaumont’s first street maintenance department, rehabilitating over 150 miles of city streets. We enhanced city parks and expanded recreation opportunities. We created the Small Business Assistance Program and developed a plan to revitalize Downtown.

 

We completed construction of Fire Station #6 and fully funded our police department, strengthening our commitment to public safety.

 

With your support, I will continue advocating for residents and working hard to:

• Ensure Beaumont is a safe city

• Address homelessness

• Attract popular eateries and stores

• Enhance and build more city parks

• Begin construction of the Pennsylvania overpass and Highland Springs Interchange improvements

 

As a teacher at Beaumont High School for 15 years, I hold a B.S and M.A degrees. As a Beaumont resident for 25 years, my family and I appreciate the beauty Beaumont has to offer.
